It’s the end of series 2, and in this episode we heard some FABULOUS news from Emma!
This episode is also all about representation. One of the reasons why we decided to start this podcast about perimenopause and beyond was because we hadn’t felt represented. There’s been a stereotypical image of the menopausal woman in the past that just didn’t fit with us.
There are plenty more people who are experiencing this, who aren’t often represented either.
This #LGBTHistoryMonth, you’ll hear a couple of stories from people who aren’t always represented, and they need to be. Tania Glyde set up @queermenopause and has carried out research into the queer menopause experience, and Hendrix is a trans man who experienced male puberty – and menopause – at the same time.
